endless-alcantara-1a

On invitation of Domitilla Dardi; Design Curator at MAXXI Architettura, Giulio Cappellini; Artistic Director at Alcantara, and Patrizia Beltrami; Alcantara, to interpret the Alcantara material, Satyendra Pakhalé – intrigued by the making process – created the site specific piece ‘Endless Alcantara’ for the “Can you imagine? Alcantara Project”.
“It is indeed a material that defines its own category and the process of making this man made material is magical. I designed an endless stream of Alcantara, a kind of waterfall that keeps flowing endlessly, just like the process of making of Alcantara!”
